before training i do No shotgun, and it helps a lot with the motivation
and after i used anabolic halo, but di not notich much help from it.

omega 3 oil pills x 10 spread out in 3's throughout the day
1 glucosamine tablet in the morning.
The other stuff is fluff and I've sacked it off.

I tried No-xplode the other week and I was failing to clean an embarassing 110kg, and only just got 100kg, I was buzzing but not in a way that helped you concentrate on the work in hand!

I went to a huge supplement trade show last year and came out with a honest 15lb bag ov supplements, mostly pre or post workout shakes. That and my supplement-dealer likes me, so i've been able to try every single pre-workout supp available in Canada in the past year. Before that i'd never bothered. About half did nothing, at all, including No-Xplode, and "The most powerful pre-workout supp in the industry" 'HEMO-RAGE' (love the name). Was supposed to send me into a 'hemo-rage' (which honestly sounds like fun to me), but it only ended up ruining a perfectly good session. Got nothing at all. A can ov Coke would have done more. But some ov these supps do give a little kick in the ass, mainly due to stimulants in the mix, likely caffeine in most, plus creatine in some. Good for focus and energy, but the 'roadmap vascularity', or 'skin-tearing pumps', or 'explosive power' never quite happened.
The only one that really did something was X-Pand, the one with Brock Lesnar on the side. He gave me a full tub ov that to try and because i was so used to this shit fizzling and ruining workouts i took the full scoop. I was so god damn buzzed i couldn't do cleans. There is such a thing as too stimulated. Great for meathead lifts where no finesse or CNS mastery is involved, not so much for olympic lifting. I actually used this one till it ran out (only half a scoop), but it had another ugly side... it crashed me after 2 1/2 hours and left me for dead. Until this i'd never experienced a sugar/insulin crash, or a caffeine crash (not sure which it was), so it took a while to diagnose. Great supplement for someone with a severe caffeine tolerance, and who keeps workouts under 2 hours. I question the legality ov this one, i swear they put chrystal meth in it...
Basically, MY take? this stuff is a LOT cheaper than daily energy drinks. Beyond that? Awesome stuff if placebos work for you...

As for the gag thing, i just cant understand this one. Some proteins out there are no less tasty than a real milkshake or chocolate drink. What have you tried...???

i am taking true protein stuff now. back when i was an idiot doing benching and curling i took muscle milk (cookies and cream) in milk and still gaged some out.

Most proteins I find hard to stomach down but I've found a company that I can take
You tried any of the biotest spike pills and spike shooters? For me they always gave a good buzz! But not sure of the value for money aspect once shipped to England...For me I find that sleeping 20minutes on the train on my back home is AMAZING for training

Set the alarm and sleepf or 20-25mins then cycle 10minutes, get ready and I'm in the gym in 15-20minutes later warming up and up for training. The sleep has become so critical that I always catch the next train to make sure I get a seat so I can sleep. Standing for 25-30minutes is NOT good for training!

Not that its available here, but even if it was, i'd not buy anything from Biotest just out ov principal. Annoying ads and hype are like anti-advertising for me.
But i live in an area where there are supplement companies all over the place, along with all the big name shit that comes up from the States. There is no point whatsoever in getting supps through the mail here. That and i get really kick-ass deals here locally.

I think they have INSANE HYPE, along with the rest of them LOL just look at the supplement names they give them it's f0cking ridiculous...but it would be interesting to see how much the spike pills and spike drinks affect you since you have a high tolerance to stimulants. I once had 2 pills and a strong coffee and before I had a caesar salad, had a pumping work out BB style and had to rush to the toilet to throw up LOL. it was savage man, part not enough food, too much caffeine and a crazy BB work out that I don't usually do. My mate also got pretty wigged out. He had to wait about 30mins in the car park before he 'calmed' down a bit before being able to drive LOL.
I can sleep as I'm f0cking battered. 5-5.5hrs sleep a night is NOT good. Your just tired man...leave the house at 6am leave work at 6 or later and your tired. Takes about 1hr15mins to get back if I'm lucky so I'm smashed by the time I get to the train and I can sleep easily. I keep my bag under my legs so I'm okay.
