I'm not sure if this made the rounds over here yet, but I had the pleasure of watching Chen lift at IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) Worlds last week, she's fairly new to powerlifting and put up a 207.5kg squat at 48.6kg bodyweight, very impressive....very easy lift

I should add that pretty much every squat by every lifter at Open Worlds is done to parallel, maybe an inch below and obviously many are high. Her's was particularly shocking in that it was a good 4" lower than it had to be. Not quite full depth, but way low for IPF standards. She weighed considerably less than her competitors (only .6kg over the weight class below her 52's), and still squatted 17.5kg more than the rest. In fact, she outsquatted all the 56's and only one 60kg lifter beat her 207.5 squat. Hell only three 67.5kg lifters squatted more than this, and all the classes were pretty big. She had an average bench for the class at 82.5kg and 2.5 under the best deadlift at 190kg, again outpulling all the 56's and most ov the 67.5's. Everything she did was easy. She actually won second overall ov all the womens classes... beaten out only by a Japanese wonder ov powerlifting leverages who was maybe 18" tall...

Talked to her later on and she said her best lifts were "Eight four snatch" and "One one two..." then she made the jerk motion. Her lifting was better than her english...

Apparently she has a few world records in IPF, pretty amazing. That squat was a world record right-should be acording to the ipf record database though isn't updated yet-? She might have the squat record in two weight classes now, crazy.

I wouldn't be so sure. In Athens she did 75/95, and at the 2007 Worlds she did 76/96. She misssed 87 snatch twice in Beijing.

I wouldn't doubt thats a record... or very close. Its true i am too lazy to look it up...

She was in my girls weight class and Lil Black Riding Hood was getting a bit jealous i think cuz i wouldn't stop talking about her. She was the most impressive female there by far, and there were some wicked lifters there... Heh... she was also the only woman on the podium in any class who didn't even look like she'd been in a gym before. There were some seriously jacked chicks there too...
