Here is training footage from Friday of Brian Carroll and Clint Smith as they prepare for the WPC World Championships which will be held November 20-23 in Palm Beach, Florida. In the video, Carroll deadlifts 805 and Smith pulls 760 pounds.
Ryan Kennelly, 308, bench pressed 1,075 pounds on Saturday at the Pride Strength Wars in Kennewick, Washington. That moves his own all-time 308 class record up from 985 pounds and is the biggest bench press ever, regardless of weight class.

The APF has filled the state chair position in Oklahoma with the naming of Joey Codner and Sean Baker as co-chairs. Baker comments at BAG: "We look forward to bringing the APF back to and past where it once was. We are planning eventually to have at least 3 meets a year, and want to cordinate them around what Texas, Kansas, and Missouri have going on."
